On 10 April 2026, ISUZU HICOM Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (IHM) held its Hari Raya Celebration at the IHM Cafeteria together with Kelab Sukan & Kebajikan Isuzu (KSKI) and the Surau Al-Kausar Committee.

The event began at 2.30 p.m. with a speech by the CEO, who took the opportunity to celebrate the festive occasion with IHM employees and express appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The gathering created a warm and cheerful atmosphere, bringing employees together in the true spirit of Hari Raya.

A wide variety of festive dishes were served during the celebration, including a special roasted lamb menu that became one of the highlights of the day. Outside of the cafeteria was also filled with colour and creativity as each department decorated its stall for the Best Decorated Stall Competition, adding to the festive mood.

To make the celebration even more enjoyable, KSKI organised several fun competitions, including ketupat weaving, karaoke, Best Decorated Stall, and Best Raya Packet Design. The winning Raya packet design will be used for the company’s festive distribution next year, making the competition both meaningful and memorable.

Ramadan Bubur Lambuk Distribution 2026

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, IHM Management, in collaboration with Surau Al-Kausar and Kelab Sukan dan Kebajikan (KSKI), organised a Bubur Lambuk programme at IHM, continuing a meaningful tradition that has been maintained for four consecutive years.

The programme brought together representatives from every department in a spirit of gotong-royong and teamwork to prepare the porridge. The cooking activity began in the morning and continued until midday, reflecting the strong sense of cooperation and togetherness among IHM employees.

In the afternoon, after working hours, Top Management took part in distributing the bubur lambuk to employees at the IHM Cafeteria before they returned home. The programme not only preserved a cherished Ramadan tradition but also strengthened unity and fostered closer bonds among employees across the organisation.

JPJ Pahang Signing Ceremony

On 29 January 2026, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) Negeri Pahang visited Isuzu Hicom Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (IHM) at the Theater Hall, Pekan, Pahang. The visit was attended by 15 representatives from JPJ and 8 members of IHM Top Management. 

The visit included a signing session for the Letter of Undertaking as well as the handover of the Engineering Workshop Registration Certificate. It aimed to further strengthen strategic relations between both parties, enhance communication and collaboration, and provide JPJ with greater exposure to IHM’s operational processes. These included gaining a better understanding of the processes involving wheelbase modification, chassis and engine number stamping, and the installation of the Speed Limitation Device (SLD), as well as to observe the vehicle assembly process more closely at the Production Line. A special highlight of the visit was that it marked the first official visit by the newly appointed Director of JPJ Negeri Pahang to IHM.

IHM Hosts Positive Mindset Forum by Dato Dr. Nurhafizah Musa

On 29 December 2025, IHM organised a Positive Mindset Forum at DRB-HICOM University, bringing together employees, invited NGO representatives, and members of the local community for an inspiring and meaningful session.

The forum featured renowned speaker Dato’ Dr. Nurhafizah Musa, who shared her experiences and insights on developing and maintaining a positive mindset. Her session encouraged participants to lead a more productive and balanced life by learning how to overcome challenges, manage stress, and stay focused in their daily activities.

Approximately 330 invitees attended the programme, including employees from the DRB-HICOM Pekan group of companies, invited non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and the surrounding local community. The encouraging turnout reflected the growing importance of programmes that support personal growth, emotional well-being, and a positive outlook in both work and life.

IHM was honored to be awarded the Human Capital Development Partner Award by the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Eastern Branch during the prestigious FMM Gala Dinner held on 13 November 2025 at AC Marriot Kuantan. This recognition highlights IHM’s strong and consistent commitment to developing its workforce through structured training programs, continuous learning initiatives, and a forward-looking approach to talent development.

The award reflects IHM’s dedication to nurturing skilled, competent, and future-ready personnel, ensuring that employees are well-equipped to meet evolving industry demands. By investing in human capital, IHM not only enhances individual capabilities but also strengthens its overall organizational performance and competitiveness.

The gala event brought together key industry players, stakeholders, and distinguished guests from across the region. The ceremony was officiated by the Chairman of the Pahang State Committee on Career, Transportation and Health, YB Ir. Razali Kassim, whose presence underscored the importance of workforce development in driving regional economic growth.

This achievement marks another significant milestone for IHM and reinforces its position as a responsible and people-centric organization committed to excellence in human capital development.

IHM organized a tazkirah session on 13 August 2025 at Surau Al-Kausar, IHM, titled “Syariat & Professional Dalam Pekerjaan.” The session was attended by 150 employees from various departments and featured Al-Fadhil Ustaz Zul Ramli Bin Mohamed Razali as the guest speaker.

This meaningful session provided an opportunity for spiritual reflection and motivation, encouraging employees to align professionalism at work with Islamic values and principles.

100K Units Production Commercial Vehicle Celebration

On 8 August 2025, Isuzu Hicom Malaysia Sdn Bhd proudly celebrated achievements for 100,000 units production of CKD Isuzu N-Series Elf and F-Series Forward models. This is also a solid reaffirmation of our market leadership and brand significance in which Isuzu has been owning the top spot for overall commercial vehicle brand for 11 consecutive years and light-duty truck brand for 15 consecutive years in Malaysia market.

IHM began the local production of N-Series and F-Series models back in 2007. In that year, the company produced 3,362 unit of trucks and since then it has been steadily increasing its lead in the industry. Since 2007 till now, IHM had recorded its best two production years in 2022 with 7,417 units and 2023 with 7,334 units.

The total cumulative number of ISUZU trucks that have been produced and rolled out from IHM since 2007 up till the second quarter of 2025 stands at 101,733 units.

On 5 August 2025, IHM Management collaborated with the Surau Al-Kausar Committee to organize the preparation and distribution of bubur asyura. In the spirit of togetherness and community, IHM employees worked collectively to cook approximately 600 servings of bubur asyura. The delicious porridge was then distributed to all IHM staff and contract workers as a gesture of appreciation and unity during the meaningful occasion.

IHM Family Day was successfully held on 19 July 2025 at Resorts World Kijal, Kemaman. The theme for this year was ‘One village, One family’. 

IHM top management officially launched the event with a symbolic fish release into the sea. Committees has prepared various of activities, games and competitions, where each Rumah Sukan brought their best energy and team spirit. The day was filled with laughter, cheer and plenty of memorable moments for everyone.

To make the day even more meaningful, IHM also took the opportunity to recognize employees through Employee and Department Excellence Awards presented on stage. This year, two special Outstanding Achievement Awards were also given to employees for their remarkable contributions.

The event ended with a lucky draw, bringing extra joy and smiles to everyone who joined in making Family Day 2025 a truly memorable event — living up to its theme, One Village, One Family.

IHM organized a Fruits Fest on 10 July 2025 at the IHM Cafeteria. The event celebrated the abundance of seasonal fruits such as durian, mangosteen and rambutan encouraging employees to appreciate local fruits while enjoying a joyful break from their daily work routine.
