In the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan, IHM management has collaborated with the IHM Sports and Welfare Club and the Surau Al-Kausar Committee to coordinate the preparation and distribution of bubur lambuk. IHM employees collectively cooked around 1000 servings of bubur lambuk, which were thoughtfully distributed to all IHM staff, including contract workers and nearby committees.

On February 29th, the Zakat Distribution Ceremony took place at IHM’s cafeteria. As part of the program, zakat was distributed to needy individuals (asnaf) within IHMSB. Additionally, Mydin vouchers and dates were distributed to all employees in preparation for Ramadan. IHM management, authorized by the Pahang Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MUIP), allocated a portion of the company’s zakat payment to IHMSB employees and contracted staff who are Muslims. Seven categories of zakat recipients were identified for the distribution of funds.

On October 28, 2024, the IHM Sports and Welfare Club orchestrated an exhilarating Fun Run event. Attended by IHM employees and their families, the event aimed to foster a culture of wellness and camaraderie within the IHM community. Through this initiative, IHM strived to emphasize the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle while strengthening the bond between employees and the IHM top management.

The IHM SHE Campaign was officially launched on September 25, 2023. As part of this initiative, the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) department has introduced a Health Corner at the IHM Cafeteria. The primary goal of this Health Corner is to enhance employee awareness regarding the importance of healthcare. It serves as a platform to provide valuable health information, including disease prevention tips and advice on adopting a healthier lifestyle, thereby promoting overall well-being among IHM employees

The Zero Harm Rules initiative was implemented at IHM during the SHE Campaign for FY2021/22 on December 22, 2021. These rules encompass fundamental safety guidelines for high-risk activities, emphasizing the importance of compliance to prevent serious injury or fatality. The objectives include fostering a culture of compliance without placing blame on employees and promoting positive safety behaviors within the workplace.

On September 23, 2022, in Pekan, IHM hosted a long service award ceremony to express gratitude and appreciation to employees who have faithfully served the company for 25 years. A total of 121 employees had received the service award, and tokens that were given per employee included a certificate and a wrist watch. The awardees were celebrated by top management and all head of departments in attendance.
