IHM Family Day was conducted on 5 August 2023 at Resorts World Kijal, Kemaman as a gesture of appreciation for our employees and their families, on top of strengthening bonds and friendship among the employees through various sports and activities held.
IHM Jamuan Hari Raya was organized on 16 May 2023 at IHM Cafeteria. In keeping with the spirit of Hari Raya, IHM has provided all employees with varieties of Malaysian delicious food.
IHM Vendor Convention and appreciation dinner was organized on 19 May 2023 at The Zenith Hotel, Kuantan to apprise our esteemed vendors of the policies and future plans of Isuzu Hicom Malaysia and to express gratitude to vendors who have demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the preceding financial year.
The Zero Harm Rules initiative was implemented at IHM during the SHE Campaign for FY2021/22 on December 22, 2021. These rules encompass fundamental safety guidelines for high-risk activities, emphasizing the importance of compliance to prevent serious injury or fatality. The objectives include fostering a culture of compliance without placing blame on employees and promoting positive safety behaviors within the workplace.
On 23 September 2022, in Pekan, IHM hosted a long service award ceremony to express gratitude and appreciation to employees who have faithfully served the company for 25 years. A total of 121 employees had received the service award, and tokens that were given per employee included a certificate and a wrist watch. The awardees were celebrated by top management and all head of departments in attendance.
The installation of rooftop solar panels by ISUZU demonstrates a commitment to renewable energy, contributing to significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and aligning with sustainability goals. The Solar PV installation project at Trim and Final 1 & 2 yields substantial daily electricity generation, cost savings, and a notable decrease in CO² emissions. This investment not only ensures long-term financial benefits but also enhances the company’s image in terms of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility, supporting IHM’s journey towards carbon neutrality
On 22 April 2022, IHM hosted a heartwarming Ramadan Iftar at our premises in Pekan. The event aimed to foster a sense of community and share the blessings of Ramadan with our valued employees.
Fire drill activity in IHM was conducted on 18 October 2019. The activity conducted is to create awareness among employees on safety aspects in the plant during fire.
IHM Safety Campaign was launched on 5 September 2019. Various activities were organized annually during Safety Campaign to help improve the well-being of our employees including talks on road safety, distribution of stop smoking and healthy food banners and also pamphlets.
IHM team had participated in the Merdeka Parade 2019 at Dataran Pekan on 31 August 2019 and won the first place in the parade competition under private company category.
