On October 14, 2024, ISUZU HICOM Malaysia (IHM) held a heartfelt ceremony at the Theater Hall to distribute wakalah zakat contributions, supporting the children of IHM employees who are pursuing their journey into higher education after completing their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exams. This gesture is part of IHM’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community support. A total of 53 students benefited from this initiative, with each receiving a contribution of RM500, which was handed over to their parents as representatives.
The ceremony, held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., was conducted with notable participation from IHM’s leadership team. The distribution of contributions was given by En Ahmad, Vice Chief Executive Officer, accompanied by En Suhaimi, General Manager of Production. Their presence, along with witnesses Dato’ Hajah Rosmah, Deputy General Manager of HRA, and En Nazman and En Nizam, underscored the importance of this initiative in recognizing the aspirations and academic ambitions of employees’ children.
Through this CSR activity, IHM demonstrated its dedication not only to the success of its employees but also to its broader social responsibility mission.
