In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, representatives of IHM Management visited Balai Bomba & Penyelamat Peramu and distributed Nasi Beriani/Nasi Arab to the firefighters as a token of gratitude for their tireless commitment and sacrifice in carrying out their duties. The meal contribution was specially prepared for iftar, allowing the firefighters to break their fast with a proper meal while remaining on duty.

Continuing this effort, on 4 March 2026, IHM Management held an appreciation programme at Hospital Pekan to show support for healthcare workers serving during Ramadan. As part of the initiative, Nasi Beriani/Nasi Arab was also distributed to the hospital staff to help them enjoy a proper iftar meal while on duty and to reduce the burden of finding food during fasting hours.

Through these initiatives, IHM Management honoured the important roles played by both firefighters and healthcare workers in ensuring public safety and community well-being, while reflecting the spirit of compassion, gratitude, and sharing during Ramadan.

On 27 February 2026, IHM organised an Iftar Perdana at the IHM Cafeteria, bringing together Isuzu employees, orphans and asnaf students in a meaningful gathering during the holy month of Ramadan.

The programme was held with the objective of bringing happiness and providing moral support to orphans and asnaf students, while also reflecting the organisation’s commitment to social responsibility and community welfare. Before breaking fast, the participants were presented with a short tazkirah by Ustaz Munim Salehuddin, which served as a meaningful reminder of the values of compassion, gratitude, and togetherness during Ramadan.

As part of the programme, a cash contribution of RM200 was presented to the orphans and asnaf students. The contribution served as a gesture of support and care, helping to uplift the recipients and make their Ramadan more meaningful.

Through this initiative, IHM continued to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the community and fostering a culture of kindness, generosity, and unity. The programme not only provided assistance to those in need, but also strengthened the bond between employees and the wider community through a shared moment of reflection and goodwill during Ramadan.

From 19 February 2026 to 20 March 2026, a Ramadan aid programme was carried out in Pekan with the participation of IHM Management and staff. Under this initiative, a total of 310 bags of 10 kg rice were distributed to asnaf recipients in Pekan, including those from PPRT Kg. Pulau Serai, PPRT Tg. Selangor, Kg. Ubai, Kg. Padang Rumbia, and Perumahan LKNP, to support their essential food needs during the fasting month. This contribution was intended to benefit underprivileged families, including asnaf, the B40 group, single parents, and the elderly, and to help ensure they had access to basic food supplies throughout Ramadan.

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, IHM Management organised a charitable aid programme in Pekan from 19 February 2026 to 20 March 2026 to support underprivileged families in the local community.

The programme was carried out with the aim of easing the financial burden of asnaf families during Ramadan, while also promoting compassion and the spirit of sharing within the community. Through this initiative, approximately 125 asnaf families received contributions from IHM.

As part of the aid programme, each recipient was presented with RM150 in cash together with a basket of groceries to help meet essential needs throughout the fasting month. The contribution was intended to provide meaningful support to families in need and to help ease their daily challenges during Ramadan.

This initiative reflects IHM Management’s continued commitment to social responsibility, community care, and supporting those in need. It also highlights the importance of compassion, generosity, and togetherness in making Ramadan more meaningful for the wider community.

As part of its Back to School Programme, IHM organised a meaningful initiative on 17 December 2025 at Ancasa Royale Pekan to support students in preparation for the new school year.

Through the programme, a total of 56 students from three primary schools and two secondary schools received store vouchers worth RM300 each, specifically designated for the purchase of school uniforms and essential school supplies. The contribution was aimed at helping students and their families make the necessary preparations for the upcoming school term.

This initiative not only helped to ease the financial burden on families but also served as a gesture of encouragement for the students. By providing both practical support and moral encouragement, the programme helped prepare them materially and psychologically for a more confident and successful year of learning.

On 6 October 2025, ISUZU HICOM Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (IHM) organized a ceremony for the distribution of waiting chairs and sofa beds to Hospital Pekan for the comfort and conveniences of patients and their caretakers. The event held at Hospital Pekan was jointly officiated by IHM’s top management, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Vice Chief Executive Officer (VCEO), and Chief Operating Officer (COO) together with representatives from Hospital Pekan.

Through this contribution, IHM donated a total of 20 units of waiting chairs and 10 units of sofa beds to Hospital Pekan, demonstrating the company’s continuous commitment to community welfare and healthcare support in the Pekan district.

On 12 March 2025, ISUZU HICOM Malaysia (IHM) held a highly significant Iftar Perdana event at the IHM Cafeteria, which brought its staff together with orphans, asnaf and Tahfiz students in the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event organized in collaboration with the Al-Kausar Surau Committee and the Isuzu Sports & Welfare Club (KSKI), reflected the true essence of Ramadan—sharing, caring, and inclusivity. The evening began with a spiritual talk by our guest speaker on the reflection about fasting in the month of Ramadan.

To mark the occasion, IHM was honored by the presence of a representative from the Pahang State Zakat Collection Centre. In a special moment before the iftar, IHM’s Vice Chief Executive Officer, En Ahmad Mohd Yunus, made zakat contributions to eligible guests, accompanied by Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Keizo Yoshimura, reaffirming IHM’s commitment to supporting those in need.

On 21 March 2025, Isuzu HICOM Malaysia (IHM) continued its commitment to community outreach by extending support to the local healthcare community during the holy month of Ramadan. As part of this special programme, IHM distributed iftar meals to 200 recipients, including patients, their families, and dedicated medical staff at Hospital Pekan.

This effort was led by IHM’s top management team, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Keizo Yoshimura, Vice Chief Executive Officer En. Ahmad Mohd Yunus as well as our Chief Operating Officer Mr. Kazutaka Watanabe, who personally distributed packed meals to patients and their caretakers as a warm gesture in conjunction with the fasting month.

To further assist the community, IHM distributed bags of rice to 150 families from the Program Perumahan Rakyat Termiskin (PPRT) housing area to assist in their Hari Raya preparations.

On 13 February 2025, ISUZU HICOM Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (IHM) successfully organized a ‘Back to School’ Program at Ancasa Royale Hotel, Pekan, in support of underprivileged primary school students.

A total of 30 students from three local schools namely SK Serandu, SK Pahang Tua, and SK Langgar, received essential school supplies, including uniforms, shoes, school bags, and stationery.

Following the ceremony, the students were brought to Hari-Hari clothing store to choose and try on their new school uniforms, accompanied by their teachers and IHM’s top management. The children were excited and happy, enjoying the opportunity of wearing new school clothes for the upcoming academic year.

This thoughtful contribution aims to ease the financial burden on families and ensure that the students are well-prepared to begin their school year with confidence.
